Athletes know that strengthening their core leads to better balance and stability, more efficient and powerful movement, and reduced risk of injury. Strengthening your coaching core leads to enhanced presence, more effective coaching and reduces your risk of isolation and burnout.
Practising our coaching is the most important way to develop our practical coaching skills. Co-coaching or peer coaching is a great way to experiment with new techniques and learn from others.
CORE is a peer-to-peer practice space for coaches who want to deepen their craft through real, relational learning.
The space opens four times a year on Zoom, where triads of coaches rotate through the roles of coach, coachee and observer to create a rich cycle of action, reflection and insight.
This is coaching development at its most human: collaborative, supportive and grounded in lived experience.
What CORE offers
Hands‑on practice in a safe, structured and inclusive environment
Live observation that sharpens your awareness of coaching methods, patterns and presence
Constructive peer feedback that strengthens confidence and capability
A regular rhythm that keeps your skills fresh and your reflective muscles active
A welcoming community of coaches with diverse backgrounds and experience, committed to mutual care and growth.
Who it’s for
CORE is open to all coaches for a small participation fee (£6.95 per session).
Whether you’re early in your coaching journey or an experienced practitioner wanting to stay sharp, CORE gives you a space to practise, stretch and reconnect with the essence of coaching.
Why CORE matters
Effective coaching is learnt in relationships with others. CORE brings you into supportive triads where you can experiment, observe and reflect, all while being held by peers who care about the quality of their practice as much as you do.
It’s simple. It’s powerful. And it keeps you connected to the core of who you are as a coach.
